Welcome to Michigan’s Premier Multisport Team
Team Athletic Mentors is comprised of athletes competing in cycling, triathlon, running and Nordic skiing throughout the calendar year. In addition to competing, the team strives to create a healthier community and develop young athletes in sports that are not typically available in the school system.
The multi-sport team, formerly sponsored by Priority Health and OAM NOW, has won national and international attention for the successful athletes who have come from the program. Two out of six American Tour de France cyclists are program alumni and current team member Chris Gottwald set the world record for the 100 mile time trial. The team’s athletes are regulars on the podium at events across the state and the Midwest.
The racing and youth development program was first launched in 2006 to bring businesses and athletes together to achieve common goals. The team prioritizes volunteerism in communities around the state to promote active and healthy lifestyles.
